• Dropped out of university  to stay with her mother who had cancer
• Her mother unfortunately passed away
• Her father got sick shortly after her mother
• He unfortunately passed away a year later as well
• Her parents left her with no money and no one to take care of her
• She stayed home for 1 year (alone) with no one to talk to (single child / no relatives) which led to a variety of mental & physical issues

- We're provided her a psychologist for a few months to help her cope with her loss

- We've been providing her with non-stop financial assistance & food boxes since 2021 (excluding the direct donations below)

-  We admitted her into a mental health facility in December 2023 due to mental health complications

- We changed and filled her fuel tank (to heat her house) and we provided her with a heating system so she can shower (warm water) whenever she wants

Family 1:

• The man  works at a laundry shop (1 million a month, most of which he spends on transportation) and the woman is      unemployed
• The woman is bedridden and has severe problems in both her legs, the man has heart, hip & knee issues

How we helped them:

• We gave them 1,100,000 LBP for food
• We bought them Panadol, Aspicot, and Concor 5+ for      114,000 LBP 
• We gave them food & medication (donations received)
• We  referred them to NGOs that might help (joey,      Isabelle)

Family 2:

• Elderly Lebanese couple (Man 75 - Woman 70)
• No kids
• Both unemployed & no social security
• They lost their house after the woman's brother tricked her into pawning it. The woman has severe medical issues in her eyes,      brain, and abdomen.
• They are in need of Money & Food (medication i s being provided by an NGO)

How we helped them:

• We gave them 1,500,000 LBP for food
• We gave them 100,000 LBP for a medication the NGOs did      not provide (Duphalac)
• We gave them 1,000,000 LBP worth of food (we bought)

Family 3:

• Lebanese couple (Man 60 - Woman 50) + 3 Kids (ages between 12 and 15)between 12 and 15)
• The man is unemployed and the woman works as a taxi      driver
• The man is on dialysis and almost blind, he is in constant need of physical and medical support
• They are in need of financial support

How we helped them:

• We gave them 2,000,000 LBP 
• We gave them 1,000,000 LBP worth of food (that we      bought)

Lamp for an old lady:

• Elderly Woman (80)
• No kids
• Unemployed but getting help from her neighbors
• She lost her generator subscription
• Is in need of a rechargeable lamp

How we helped them:

• We got her a rechargeable lamp (250,000 LBP)

Diapers & Milk for a newborn baby:

• A 30-year-old man with a newborn baby
• The man is employed, his salary is 1,100,000 LBP (most of which he spends on transportation)
• He is in need of Diapers & Milk

How we helped him:

• We gave him milk cans (2 boxes) & diapers (2 boxes)  [both donations received]

Family 4:

• Lebanese couple (Man 65 - Woman 62) + 2 Kids
• The man is unemployed and the woman works as a cleaning lady
• The man had a stroke & is now bedridden, the kids also have medical issues and work minimum wage to support their 
• Family (cook/delivery driver)
• They are in need of financial support (especially with  the father's medical bill)

How we helped them:

• We gave them 1,200,000 LBP for food
• We referred them to NGOs that might help (ray &      joey)
• We gave them a box of food (donation received)

Medication for an old lady

• Marguerite B. found us a medication that we need for an old lady, we gave her 500,000 LBP to purchase it (receipt available upon      request) 

Family 5:

• Single mother (divorced) + 2 kids
• The man walked away on his 
• Family & she works a minimum wage (~1,000,000 LBP) to      support her

• The man used to work in the music industry & the  woman is unemployed
• The man had to stop working because he has multiple      sclerosis, the kid is mentally challenged, the woman is unemployed.
• They are in need of Money, Food, Medication

How we helped them:

• We gave them 2,000,000 LBP for food
• We gave them a food box (donations received)
• We referred them to NGOs that might help (joey, Ray)

Family 7:

• Elderly Lebanese couple (in the 80's)
• 3 kids (1 has cancer, cannot support, and the others  don't support)
• They are both working as janitors and live in a 5x5 room
• They are in need of medication and minor support

How we helped them:

• We gave them 1,000,000 LBP

• Tries to find job wherever she can (tailor, finishes      papers for people, nanny...)
• Lives with her ill son who has an auto-immune disease      (Chron's variation that lowers his immunity) who requires constant medical      support
• This woman is in extreme debt due to her son's medical      bills

How we helped her:

• We gave her 3,000,000 LBP & 100$ 
• We started looking for donors outside Lebanon to cover      her debt (around 22,500,000 LBP excluding hospital bills)

Update: we were able to find a donor who covered her entire medical debt (800$)

Family 34:

• Family (Mother 50, Father 60, Son at college)
• The man works as a taxi driver, the woman works as a  cleaning lady to support their son (the son works as a waiter)
• The woman was diagnosed with a type of cancer and has to be removed, the operation requires 130$ which she can't afford

How we helped her:

• We gave her 1,000,000 LBP + 130$
• We also gave her a box of food

• Their fridge broke down and they need it for their medications

• We cannot afford a new fridge, so we got them a used one for 1,000,000LBP we also covered transportation

Time with an old lady:

• This woman doesn't need food or medications, she needs someone to talk to, so I sat with her all afternoon, and we had pizza, she      was happy.

• The man used to work in equipment installation, he fell and injured both legs severely (he cannot work anymore), the woman started      supporting him by working as a cleaning lady
